what the best way to batter something rather it being a piece of boudin, fish,duck, hotdog wheenie, frog, or onion?

tried mustard and milk buy my batter never sticks
what are u wise boys that know how to cook do?

mix some eggs and milk wit a lil cayanne and seasonall........pass ya meat wit a lil cajun power thru it, put in flour, coat well, then put it back in the egg wash again, then back in the flour...... hot peanut oil!!!!!!!!! :P enjoy!!

Your biggest problem is probably your oil temp.


If it is too low it won't stick.

Batter it twice.
First batter should be a wet batter I like to mix my fish/shrimp fry wit beer.
After dat batter it wit just your dry batter.

Went to a party last night and the host and hostess were a little tipsy- bordering on deerunk. We brought a pork tenderloin to put on the grill.
They were dipping bratwurst in buttermilk, cornmeal, jalapeno, cayenne, grated onion, and making cornbrats. Absolutely friggin awesome until the first coronary. Well, they got to deep drying everything in the kitchen.
Onion rings
Pork tenderloin that was cooked on the grill
Grilled hamburgers
Pickles

They stopped at strawberries. :lol:
