Since this is the forum for "cookin' and adventure".........
.......here's mine.
Been working seven days a week most of the summer between my two jobs. Managed to actually get a day off the friday of Labor Day weekend. Decided to have a cookout and a small bonfire with a lady-friend of mine, my buddy, and his girlfriend. Made Jerk Chicken, salt potatoes, and ni@@er-corn (that's the cooking part).
(Now for a little bit of adventure, anyway.)
Then more people showed up. No idea how many cases of beer got drank. There was a bottle of Jack being passed around, the chick I was with almost caught her face on fire, the usual. Then we started running low on firewood. We had three huge piles of pallets originally. Got my rusty, dull, icebreaking axe out of the boat, and one of the guys started cutting up everything he could. Ran low on wood again. The tree in my backyard was(is) going to have to come down next summer, so they started working on that and then the axe broke. Three tow straps were hauled out, and this is what ensued.
Don't have the videos up yet of the tricycle incident that followed. Hopefully I'll get to that soon.

Tie da rope higher in da tree and get more leverage. Yall gave up too easy. But then again last time I had a tree I was determined to put on a fire, I stole a trachoe to get it down. Good thing I didn't get caught a DWI on a trachoe would not have looked good on my record.

Funny you mentioned the trac-ho. My cousin's got one and lives a mile down the road, but they were replacing a culvert between his house and mine, so he couldn't get through. If we had had one more strap, we would've been able to pull from the road (where I was videoing from) and I'm pretty sure he would've gotten the traction he needed. Also, it was a Chevy.
