Re: What kind of Crab is this???
It does look a little like a small Stone Crab or a giant fiddler.

Not a stone crab. I have caught stone crabs down at Grand Isle before.

Re: What kind of Crab is this???
im 1000 percent sure its not a stone crab. looks to be mixed with a lil blue crab. if i had to say one way or the other, looking at all of the scientific evidence, i would say its a blue crab from the 1950s

Re: What kind of Crab is this???
While I'm still debatin 1'st place for "Entertainment Value" on this one I think the Grand Prize goes to POKER1 (I am impressed ). We took "Blue" around to some seafood dealers & some OldTimers &...... they had no idea. BB & MudPuppy were so impressed with the courageousness (ie; ferociousness) of this cute Crustation, they decided to keep it as a pet (must be a guy thing) & it escaped unfortunately no taste test this time!! LOL
