'Bout that time of the day ..... I'll feel a great thurst comin' on .... I shall at that time .. crank up and goes and put the check on mines up-current limb lines ..... then repeat the proccess !!!!

When I'm thru with this operations .... I'll be at the cleanin' table with the grease gittin' hot !!!!!!

howd it go this weekend Mr. Brooks? Soon as i get another boat im gunna start runnin some lines. Hell, some people that have land right on the lake been raking up on them cats. When the high water came up in their yard they just went out in the boats and closed all their gates. when the water came down they just set limb lines in their yards and been catching the hell outa them big cats that couldnt fit back through the chain link

Fishin' rite now and fo the next couple months .... is perfect !!! No bugs buggin' you ... fish are extremely tastey comin' from this cool water. Bites alittle slow .... but dang its fun !!!!

I had the opurtunity to talk with some Afro-Americans just the other day behind the spill way at the Pines .... thay was catchin' 'em left and right, right and left !!

Thay was lined up back there shoulder to shoulder .. doin' the deal. I says ... where I'm 'spose to be .... thay say ... rite cheer ... come on in !!!! I was kind of on the job .. soes I couldn't stay long ... but man ...

Do I work .... ?? Heck yeah I's work !! Everyday of the week !!! I don't work hard like I used to have to .... heck I don't thank I'm even able. Been workin' non-stop since I was 15 years old. Mines Dad aways told me .... Ifin' you work ... you don't have time fo it .... ifin' you don't work ... you ain'ts gots the money fo it !!! I chose to have money ..... so I don't really have the time fo it ..... but I manage to pretend that I do at times .... sometimes I find mineself just ridin' 'round in a ignorance blissful state of mind .... !!!!!!

Had the pleasure of takin a mornin cruise on the SS Brooks a couple years back on Caddo to go pull some jug lines....the 45 minute trip took 1-1/2 hours because he couldn't get off the phone due to calls from work. Brooks got him a good gig goin on and runs his show w/ professionalism.
