Went on a charter with my Gf's dad and some of his friends. We went with Captain Hunter Caballero on his 32' Twin Vee with twin 350 Yamaha's. We went to the Innovator to try for tuna and ended up with 2 yellow fin tuna bout 45 pounds a pecie. The baracuda's kept cutting our damned lines then the bite turned off. We then moved a little north to hit some grass lines and found 4 dolphin. It was badass cauz i watched one bull swin to the bait an blow up on it. Hearing the reel's drag squealing is awesome. After we caught the dolphine we headed to the "Lump's" to try for amberjack but they were not there so we headed about 8 miles north to a rig wreck and got our limit of 12 snapper.
I had a great time. it was my first REAL offshore experience in Blue water. The 32's Twin Vee was flat out moving at 43 mph in the rough at 4300 RPM. He claims itss do 60 MPH with just him in the boat. It was worth the money and i'd probably do it again. We didnt catch too many fish but it was a blast catching fish I never seen before.

Raw tuna basically tastes like nothing LOL. We pan seared some in Seaseme oil for about a minute on each side then sprinkled a little lemon juice, Soy sauce, salt, and pepper and I couldn't stop eating it. Gonna cook some more tongiht. I plan on eating it all this week so I dont have to freeze the Tuna.
