Finally had a chance to go do some fishing this weekend. Went down to my camp in Pointe A La Hache. Its on the east bank of Plaqumines parish. Whe had 3 boats out there. Me in my 16x54 GDSD with my girlfriend and another buddy. Shallow Water Master from the forum was there by himself in his 18x60 GDSD. We left the camp around 3:30 in the afternoon and were all back at the dock before 6:00 PM. The only reason we didn't have a limit of reds is because I couldn't count. Possibly the inability to count was directly related to tha amount of beer cans that were emptied during the trip.

I almost forgot. My stepdad and my 2 uncles were in another boat. 18 foot flat with a 90 Merc. They also caught there limit, but I didn't get any pictures. Took them a little longer to get there 15. Couldn't get into the marsh like we could. But all in all it was a great trip. Drank a few cold beers, grilled up some of that fresh redfish, and had quality time with friends and family. Times like this are awesome.

Nice trip .... I heard the fish are jumping in the boat everywhere. 2 more weeks until I'll be out there with the new rig.
