Post Can anyone offer advice for fishing the rigs below Venice?
Thought I'd try to head out to the rigs in a couple weeks on a calm day. Never fished 'em around La, just out from Mobile bay and that was a quickie trip. Is it possible for a first-timer to do any good? Thought it might be fun to try something different, though I don't figure I'll ever get bored fishing the marsh.

I'd rather go after some larger fish. Snapper mahi tuna etc. Would love it if i could get my wife hooked up with something big. A limit of nice specks would be a blast, but i'd like her to see some of the different fish out there :)

You want to hit the tuna out of Venice...call this dude-

You can catch snapper anywhere....Venice is THE BOMB for tuna fishin...you won't regret it 8-)
