cracklins
im makin some cracklins tomorrow with pork bellies that i spent all night cutting up last night. I have seen them done a while back but my question is is how long does it normally take to ckko them the first time when the fire is low and before i pop them? Im not going to do big batches (I know it would take longer to do large batches)

Re: cracklins
Only use a little grease. The pork will make more. After frying a bit , take out and put in freezer (for a couple minutes). Then put back in grease. They will then pop.
Good Luck!!!

Re: cracklins
Do not stack, and they must be really cold when put back into grease.

Re: cracklins
next time try puting no greese. put cracklins in pot and put ab half of the craklins worth of water. boil it. the water will cook out and melt the fat making the greese. then just keep stiring until they are how u like them. this is the origional way and takes longer but pays off
