We ran the boat last night with the new bowfishing rig attached for a test run. The equiptment worked out pretty good, minus the one light that had stripped threads that we had to ditch. The boat ran awesome in the marsh in just a few inches of water with 3 guys, 2 ice chests, generator and other boat crap. The only problem we had was that there was no reds at this spot in the rigoletes (We were trying a new spot close to the house). We picked up 1 red and 1 flounder and called it a night with the boat. We did, how ever, smoke the specks on a friends pier under the lights. Dat's der ass dis weekend - headed to Shell Beach/Hopedale/Delacroix where I know dey got reds. Stay tuned for a report next week....... |

Those areas have been having some big reds out there. went a few weeks ago and did damn good. |
