well I had to break down and buy one, actually bought two, local hardware store made me a deal on a large one and mini one. Couldnt pass it up. Fired the big one up, got it too 650 degrees for steaks, man it was amazing how fast it gets up that hot, had flames that looked like a torch spewing out the top  Mighty fine steak I must say  more reports as I experiment more

Cool deal !! Let us know what you think of the mini. I've always thought that it would be cool to have a portable egg, but just wonder about the cooking capacity on it. |

I think the mini will be fun to cook four hamburgers, two steaks etc, but the way I thought of it, Im mainly going to use it for quick cooking like steaks and burgers, chicken etc.. so I can cook on it quick if I need to cook six or eight steaks, or burgers. I wouldnt get it for smoking a pork butt all day for ten people. |
