 Capt and Co
Well the crops are starting to come out of the fields and the predators are more visible. Last night while on patrol I spotted some eyes in a fenced in soccer field. Upon closer inspection I found a large gray fox working the bleacher area. When he saw me he kinda panicked and started running all crazy. He rammed the chain link fence several times trying to get way from my spot light. After several crashes I turned the light off and he was able to squeeze under the fence. Lots of coyotes and foxes working the roads and ditches at night. Seeing alot of coons eating acorns and persimmons along the roadways too. Should be a good season. Randy

 Re: Capt and Co
I live in a ranching community. We get lots of coyotes.....I see a lot of them crossing fields and sometimes even in the backyard in the morning. We also get red fox and bobcats.
My BIL is a big varmint hunter. I rarely do it. Last year he pitched a coyote in my boat on a night that he knew I was duck hunting the next morning.
That'll wake ya up
