 My two addictions... My wife seen the post on the bacon explosion aka heart explosion posted on here. She said she would make me one and low and behold it was done and cooked to perfection. Here she poses with our first explosion. We have had a couple since then  Randy

Re: My two addictions... She also cleans catfish.  Hiz I have made some meatloaf but it was when I first got the egg. I need to revisit the meatloaf again. I bought a big bag of chicken wings for this weekend. I had cheese burgers for supper tonight. I have been blessed with a great wife. Mitsch its the bacon explosion my wife is holding. I am now trying other variations. Randy

Re: My two addictions... Here's a picture of what I am talking about that I found on the web ...
This one is obviously brand spankin' new because it is so pearly white.
The grill sits on top of those 3 legs that are pointed up.
When doing pizzas, I flip this over (legs down) and use the flat, even surface on the other side.
As you can see, it does a good job of covering the fire pit while still allowing ample ventilation.

Re: My two addictions... ummmmmmmm.........pizza! FYI Jon that platesetter will become soaked in pork fat if you smoke a lot of butts. It doesn't add to the flavor of the crust.  I finally had to get a pizza stone.
