Took the last of the Quail left in the freezer . Seasoned with salt and pepper , wrapped with thick bacon . Grilled on low med , turning alot while brushing with glaze . The mix I use is Bourbon , Jalapeno pepper jelly , and Worcestershire . Grill till bacon is caramelize = enjoy |

Found this recipe on the internet to try something different than cream cheese . Look up "Paul's Bourbon - peppy jelly Glaze recipe . It's will give you the ratio's on the glaze . The recipe called for pepper jelly , when I went to the store , I saw the one that was a Jalapeno Pepper Jelly and use that instead of just pepper jelly . I like a kick and thought that would be better with the jalapeno's in it . Dude , just the jelly smells good brother . It worked great , wish I've had more Quail in the freeze , dam folks wanted more . Enjoy ! |
