Whatever you are doing right now, stop. Get up and go to the store. Get these ingredients and make this. 1 can of black olives (6 oz) 1 jar of green olives (8 oz) 12 oz. shredded Monterey Jack cheese 1/2 cup mayo (real mayo, not the low fat junk) 1 stick of butter (room temp) 1 loaf of french bread (split in half, longways) Chop up all of the olives -- just rough chop them up. They don't have to be anything special. Mix all of the ingredients together until well blended. Spread the mixture equally on the french bread (pile it on up - it will melt & soak in). Bake in the oven at 350 for about 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese gets all bubbly and good. Slice it up and enjoy. |
