I do a lot of reading in here but i post very little. I finally got me a mudmotor last year and run it on a 1548 fisher. What i have expereinced reading throughout this forum is that there are a treasure trove of patriotic folk that frequent this site. I would like to extend my thanks for all the thoughts and prayers that everyone sends out to all of us deployed overseas. It is great to know that the people still care about us and send thier very best wishes.

It is a pleasure to serve. I am coming to the end of my career. Got almost 19yrs in and will be reitring at 20 its been a long run and the last 6yrs have been the most trying. Remember to Vote this year during the midterm elections.

A buddy of mine made it to a run he said it was really fun. I have to get a new boat though. When is the next run scheduled for. Hopefully I will have a new boat by that time. Afghanistan not to bad cold lately and lots of rain believe it or not. keep me posted on the next run and i will try to make it.

Matt, probably your best bet is to keep up with the event forums on this site. The larger runs are announced & planned on that forum.

Also, from time time a few guys will get together on a smaller scale. Usually it'll be posted up as a weekend ride in the duckblind section if not in the event forums. There are a lot of Texas guys on here. With a little luck, maybe one will come together near you.

I've got a buddy that'll be joinin y'all as a contractor soon. In his 2nd week of training now. A retired police officer, he's been hired as an LEP (Law Enforcement Professional). Goin' to Afghanistan, but I don't know where.

I'll keep an eye open for a mudrun I'm going to talk to a couple of buds that went to caddo and see if they might be interested in taking a newbie. Would love to get muddy with the wife on a weekend. Tell you friend to be careful when he comes over here as a LEP he might be coming to where I'm at sorry i can't say where that is specificly.

Well folks its been a hella trip over here to Afghanistan only have 10 days left. Luckily they are pulling my unit out earlier than planned. OUTSTANDING!!!!!!! Should be wheels down at home the first week in May. Then its time to look for a new boat.

Thanks Agian for your thoughts and prayers. Please don't forget those that are still here and the families of the ones that will come home only in spirit.
