I actually had a guy in A school claiming he was prior army and had gotten a purple heart for being shot while in Iraq. Turns out it was his grandfathers and he was bullshitting everyone wearing it with his uniform and what not. Needless to say the instructors didn't think it was very funny, not sure of his punishment but i never saw him agian  .
