Listening to the radio I hear they are bringing two infected American doctors to Atlanta. From a public health viewpoint do y'all think this is a wise decision?

Not very smart. But I guess it would be a decision on leave them over there to die from no help or send them over here so maybe they will live?

Great, I'm flying into Atlanta ATL on Monday headed to Augusta and some of the surrounding areas for the week. Hopefully they Lysol the shit out of the airport before I get there.

It's actually hard to get, and not that deadly anywhere but 3rd world countries. It's not airborne, you have to swap bodily fluids to catch it.
Main reason so many africans die is dehydration. Some of those folks over there still believe having sex with a virgin will cure aids

I could be mistaken, however I understand it was "one of the infected Americans" arriving via private medical jet and special transport to CDC facility in Atlanta.
You might not be aware that one important aspect African communities tribal rites is taking care of their sick by their families, during times of illness, especially in isolated villages and also the washing the dead, before burial. As you can realize- both aspects can be quite deadly, for those caregivers who are not fully aware of these dangerous virus'.
