Come on guys if you are honest with yourselves, the Governor's actions on this was a total publicity stunt to pander to his base of support...the tea party extremists. He's a nice guy and all but this is what public officials do from time to time to drum up good publicity. Obama does it too, only he's much better at it than Gov. Abbott.

BTW, Abbott paid only $104 in Federal Incomes Taxes last year. That should piss off a few people on MMT.

I am glad that Abbott is watching what the federal government is doing. Just another check and balance. This will be nothing. But they will do it again, next year, then the next, and the next. After about 6 years, we will be so used to it, we will not even question it. At that point we will easily be controlled in one more aspect of our lives.

Fellas, I know that this will not make you jump up off your couch and do anything. But all this stuff have been incrementallized into our society just like the story of feeding the pigs and building a fence around them over time.

Our kids are being indoctrinated by Common Core (and whatever name they change it too like Parc) by the federal government but worse by a a socialist like Gates and his Gates foundation that have put forth their agenda by not only providing the money but also the curriculums and the online testing and learning systems. Never trust a nation wide curriculum, it will be owned by the libs and amounts to nothing more than "re Education Camp" like the communist.

Then the banking laws have invaded our privacy in the name of security. There are businesses being shut down because after a big weekend they deposited over 5 thousand dollars in the bank cash. They are watching our every movement for with drawls.

One day we will not be able to worship outwardly. They will make churches take down steeples and crosses because it offends someone passing by. If you do not have a decal or support a certain agenda, you will be shamed and told where you can and cannot work.

Little bits of this have already happened.

Is it too late for us? I say no, but someone has got to get off the couch and get politically active. One day when you can no longer hunt or fish because of regulation or because our economy is so screwed up by these corrupt idiots that no one can afford too, remember that I asked you to get politically active. About 95% of you are very conservative almost libertarian types. And that political side is the only thing that can save us.

Oh and when I say politically active, back a set of ideals not a candidate. I would not vote for my own brother if he were running. We do not agree on the same things. We actually do, but he thinks he is an old style democrat. But he is really conservative, he just does not know it yet. Vote for ideals and standards and make your candidates conform to them. It will take a long time.
