At this point the only way they will quit or at least slow down committing crimes on whitey is for us to start protecting ourselves. I know the majority of us on here would have done the same thing that man did in that situation. Who knows. But if he goes to prison for this the little faith I have left in our judicial system will be lost.

Oh he's going to jail, like it or not. He shot an unarmed thief from a good distance away, in the back. Doesn't help that he was 14.

If this kid picked up something in a store or out on the street, that is one thing. But he had to cross this big fence in a small courtyard at 2am. Someone is in my place, like that, I have to think that they are wanting to do harm to me and family not just take a bucket or bike or something. He should not be arrested. In fact, no one should be arrested when you use a gun against someone that is in the process of a crime on your property.

Whatever became of this case? Sure had a lot of media coverage right off the bat. Think some other facts came out that quieted the liberal media??

They want to run wild with stories of racism, and old school KKK images, but the Trayvon case put fear in them.

They learned that eventually the truth gets out, and they are not fond of America talking about why young black males are running around the streets in the wee hours of the mornings, armed, with previous crimes under their belt.

That story never made national news. What do you supposed would have happened if three white kids beat a black kid, while a white bus driver watched and did nothing? Do you think the MSM would have reported it? Do you think Jessie and Al might show up? Do you think they would call it a hate crime?

That is ridiculous. I hope those n1ggers get punished to the full extent. If that would have been reversed all the niqqers on the buss would have jumped in to help out. But being the kid was white everyone just watched. I hope that kid is ok. Niqqers are animals and even good ones turn into niqqers when they get together. Makes me sick.

Glad this went the way it did. This guy should be considered a hero for fighting off the thugs.

He's off for now, but the way I understood it is, if a new DA comes in, they can revisit the case. I think the grand jury made the right decision.

Maybe when Dean gets back he could clarify for us, but......

Shouldn't his lawyer have pushed for the grand jury to no bill him instead of take no action at all? OR is that the same thing?
Seems like he would have been better off in the long run with an affirmation that the shooting was justified since most states have legislation that protects justified shooters from civil litigation.

You bring up a good point. It leaves doubt about what the authorities are really saying right now, by not coming out on this guys side. All this tells me that we cannot defend ourselves against those that want to do us harm.

This kid, jumped a big fence at night, in a small courtyard, with the homeowners family just a few feet away. Whose to know how this guy is armed or his intentions. But once he had to jump that big fence---all bets are off, this kid is playing for keeps now. He should be held up as a hero.

He wasn't breaking in their house, a fenced yard is not an extension of your home, and he shot him from the back, meaning there was no threat. Black white yellow, adult or kid it doesn't matter. He used poor judgement on when to shoot. If someone is in your yard or breaking into your truck you're safer staying inside and calling cops. Now if they're a threat, are armed, or you can reasonably prove your life was threatened all bets are off! It reminds me of a sign by the duck lease at a boat lift that says "don't steal or die by .357". Whatever Delacroix rednecks. Y'all shoot someone for stealing your chapmans pirogue and you're gonna get the chair. Just my .02.

§9.42. Deadly force to protect property.

A person is justified in using deadly force against another to
protect land or tangible, movable property:

(1) if he would be justified in using force against the other
under Section 9.41; and

(2) when and to the degree he reasonably believes the deadly
force is immediately necessary:

(A) to prevent the other's imminent commission of arson,
burglary, robbery, aggravated robbery, theft during the nighttime, or
criminal mischief during the nighttime; or

(B) to prevent the other who is fleeing immediately after
committing burglary, robbery, aggravated robbery, or theft during the
nighttime from escaping with the property; and

(3) he reasonably believes that:

(A) the land or property cannot be protected or recovered by
any other means; or

(B) the use of force other than deadly force to protect or

Well, well,

The 14 year old that got shot and in a coma, whose mother said that he cannot "walk, talk or eat well" has been arrested for another burglary. Which means he had to go inside of a place now at 15. No learning lessons after getting shot in the head.
