Since you are such a well versed fighter for truth and logic, why don't you try proving your arguments in another arena? It's no challenge to get the atta boys that you crave when in a group of like minded sheep. Take the opportunity to do gods work and save some souls, come to one of my other frequented forums. Word of warning, they do not allow copied and pasted essays like you post here, original thought is required. This applies to you other devoted good ole boys, come on over and spread the word! |

Come join us, there is a subforum for questions by christians and for christians. It is a very civil place, there are lots of great discussions you can learn a lot there that you may have not considered. Don't be skurred. |

Idacraw I still love you. I have more enjoyment jostling back and forth with you than any other online person that I have hooked and jabbed with. Without a doubt, you have me beat hands down on the intelligence department. The advantage I have is that I serve an all powerful God. Your comment - "You talk a big game here amongst your flock" You may be reading this different that I do, but I do not think I have much of a "flock" here. If so, they got one dud round as a shepherd. As a matter of fact, with my hypothetical "who do you want as a neighbor" question, you got more votes than I did. Dguidry, eljefe, Voo Doo, Walkers Bay sound.... are not bashful about hooking and jabbing with me. Most of them give me just as much as I give them. If not mistaken, I believe I am one fundamental, old fashioned Baptist in a sea of Cajun Catholics, a few atheist, and a number of pot smokers. |

Idacraw why are you so against God. You seem to quote scriptures and know the bible. But Jesus said that many will hate you in My name. Have you ask Jesus to be your Lord and Saviror? With the quoting of scripture from you then you know about the lake of fire and weeping and gnashing of teeth. My friend that is no place to be. Even as you talk against our heavenly Father you can still ask for forgiveness and repent and still go to heaven. I'm not going to get into a debate or argument with you cause you know what the Bible says. I just wonder why are you so rebellious against God? |

shafer, ranger and I aren't so different really. Our views of life are polar opposites but other than that we are one and the same. We both enjoy a good debate, and seek new information to both strengthen our arguments and increase our knowledge. Ranger had for a while no real opposition, except for me, now eljefe has taken up some of my slack. The point being, that ranger wants to debate people, that is why he posts the topics that he does, he enjoys the back and forth just like I do. I post here because there needs to be 2 sides of an argument represented. I really don't post often on the atheist forum because people like me are the majority there so I would really be wasting my time considering the volume of posters there that share my opinions. Ranger has the same problem here, so I suggested he take his debate to another forum where he could have a discussion with more 3-4 people. He would really learn some new things there, just as I have learned here and he could gain valuable experience. |

Idacraw Outstanding comments, and I agree with you. This is one of a number of sites that I get on and debate. To be honest, I spend more time online debating than I should. I need to cut back, not add more. I will agree with you though, that debating makes you look at topics from multiple angles, and forces you to be more rounded in your knowledge of a topic. Thus the reason I spend so much time reading the Huffington Post. It forces me to see through the liberal lens. I appreciate the invite for the atheist site, but to be honest, debating evolution and atheism is not my forte. I enjoy debating politics, and most of all, I like to debate the so called modern day "Christian" who has a wishy washy faith, not grounded in Bible, but is more feelings based, and grounded in their Rock and Roll Church fake theology. Most of this crowd hates Bible just as much as an atheist does. They want to believe in the long haired peace Jesus with blue eyes and blond hair, and are not really interested in what Jesus actually preached on. I do want to correct you on one of your comments - you claimed that I "bash homosexuals, blacks, liberals". I may bash liberals, but on homosexuals, I take a Biblical stance, and I back up my beliefs with history, science, and crime statistics. As far as bashing "blacks", you are way off base. What I do bash is political correctness, that has a set of rules that prevents you from saying anything truthful about "blacks". Ignoring the fact that they are 12.5% of the population, but doing 50% of the murders and then wanting to take my guns, is the sort of stuff that I will highlight. Skin color is benign and non-behavioral. I could care less about the color of a man's skin, but in turn, I will not make a hero of Trayvone Martin, because his skin happens to be black. Thanks, |
