US Army defines Christian ministry as 'domestic hate group' Several dozen U.S. Army active duty and reserve troops were told last week that the American Family Association, a well-respected Christian ministry, should be classified as a domestic hate group because the group advocates for traditional family values. The briefing was held at Camp Shelby in Mississippi and listed the AFA alongside domestic hate groups like the Ku Klux Klan, Neo-Nazis, the Black Panthers and the Nation of Islam. |

We need to take off from our jobs, about 60 million of us from across the country and march on Washington. We should not hurt anything, just force our way and fill up every crevice like water in DC. But that is not going to happen. We do need organizations though that will be a home guard and start promoting the constitution. |

Don't normally get involved with "politics" but had to inject into this one. Dguidry, have you ever served? Though I do not know rangerp personally, he and I have many mutual friends who we served together with over the last twenty plus years. Just so you know, he is WELL respected in the army, specifically in the ranger community. So if you truly think that he is spewing hate, then you have no clue what it means to have morals, ethics and values. You have no idea what it takes to inspire, to lead Soldiers, motivate them and influence them to accomplish things under less than ideal conditions. This includes taking the life of enemy combatants. You see, to do this leaders must walk the walk, not talk the talk. You walk the walk by possessing moral courage, ethics, values and beliefs. This is why the military profession is held in high regard. Where do lawyers stand with the population and why is that? |

I don't NEED to respect a lawyer ever. Again you did not answer the question. Why is it that the citizens of this coutry view the miltary in a much higher regard than lawyers? By the way, look at who is in the bottom of the list. Most politicians are what? Lawyers. |

Rangerp. If your duty is to protect and serve the constitution, what does your logic on this topic side with, do you as an officer enforce it, and deem it constitutional? Or do you disobey it bc you've come to the conclusion it is unconstitutional? |

See Dguidry this is where you are wrong yet again. It is actually a fallacy - Patton (My hero, yes RangerP my hero is an Army General) himself proved this. The idiom assumes the people are smart to begin with, an assumption that has been proven wrong countless times in history. Whoever said that has obviously never encountered automatic weapons.
