3. A strong military is essential.

7. The national budget must be balanced.
8. Deficit spending must end.
9. Bailout and stimulus plans are illegal.
10. Reducing personal income taxes is a must.
11. Reducing business income taxes is mandatory.
12. Political offices must be available to average citizens.
13. Intrusive government must be stopped.
14. English as our core language is required.
15. Traditional family values are encouraged.


The Tea Party is a grassroots movement that calls awareness to any issue which challenges the security, sovereignty, or domestic tranquility of our beloved nation, the United States of America. From our founding, the Tea Party represents the voice of the true owners of the United States: WE THE PEOPLE.

TeaParty.org was created on: September 2nd, 2004. Many claim to be the founders of this movement; however, it was the brave souls of the men and women in 1773, known today as the Boston Tea Party, who dared to defy the greatest military might on earth. We are the beneficiaries of their courage.

And why do the liberals who are hell bent on wrecking this country, lie to the public and verbally vilify the Tea Party??? Only because it threatens their cushy lifestyle in office...plain and simple.

Noticed you did not include freedom of religion which includes freedom from religion. Can atheists join the Tea Party organization?

Well Dean, my thoughts about your question are... I'd be willing to bet that yes, atheists can join since the Constitution protects that right. As long as support and defend the Constitution, why shouldn't the be welcome?

The tax rate that the tea party of 1773 was nothing compared to the tax rate we have now. How did we manage to let the government get so out of control or in control i guess is better way to put it?

The colonies said no taxation without representation. We should still have that idea but opposite "no representation without taxation"
