I see that there are a few places here in Louisiana that have laws against sagging pants.

First, I think saggin pants are the dumbest thing ever. supposedly started in prison by the punks to show everyone who was the punk ass bitch. They look stupid. Make the wearer look even more stupid. Funny watching someone try to run in them. Always having to pull them up.

On the plus side, they make it easier to apprehend the criminal because they cannot run in them.

But for the life or me, why are we spending good money and maybe a cops time worried about someone wearing saggy pants that only show their boxers? Does it matter? This is only giving a ticket because the person is stupid. There are millions of stupid people in every state that do not wear saggy pants.

Is this worth it?

I figured that everyone would be on this topic like white on rice.

I hate saggin pants. But what I hate more is laws that limit freedom. Because it will never stop there. They will want to stop you from wearing camo on the street. Or rubber boots in a store. Or no more mud motors.

We have to be for the rights of some, even if we hate it, to make sure we see the big picture, that it could happen to us. We need more freedoms not less.

Here in Terrebonne they passed the law not too long ago. More of an ordinance than anything. I still see blacks, whites and Hispanics walking around with sagging pants. And I have actually seen cops pass by someone walking on the sidewalks with sagging pants and they do nothing even though it's a busy part of town.

In essence it does nothing to deter those that like to wear saggy pants. It was a waste of time and money.

The thing I don't get is that normally clothing fads come and go, but these idiots have been doing this for probably 10 years or better. Guess they're too stupid to think of something new. That and they're too stupid to realize or just don't care that the style was started in prison to signify that they're available to take it up the ass.

I was with my wife in the mall shoping for my little girl for some clothes and come across pants that were made to look like they was saggin with the boxers sowed in them to make the look. Our fasion industry has gone to pot...... I dont under stand why wantin to look like a thug would be cool...
