From what I gather, 12 or so years ago, the Arkansas State Police was called By Jim Bob Duggar (father to the family of TV show 19 Kids and Counting) to investigate his own son (a young teen then) for possible molestation of his younger sisters.

There was no arrest or conviction, but he was investigated. I also gather that it was the son that told on himself, and that he received counseling.

I believe this is a newsworthy story. I do not think he should be immune from the media covering this story, as he is a celebrity and he does speak for Christian family values

What I find disturbing is that every liberal rag in the nation is covering the story, but when months back it broke that Obama’s gay 65 year old friend Terry Bean was actually arrested for the rape of a 15 year old boy, the same lib media completely ignored the story. Bean is the founder of the largest LGBT lobby group in America, and raised half a million for Obama.

Just recently, Larry Brinkin (another gay rights powerhouse) was convicted of child porn, and yet again the lib media did not want to cover the story.

Why the discrepancy in reporting?

The liberal agenda in the media is the same agenda the odumbo promotes. They are inseparable. It fits the liberal media template to run all over a conservative doing something wrong. To report of the atrocities of that porn pimp friend of old bathhouse barry would be to violate their own principles (dare I use that word in connection to the drive by media) in reporting. Remember when that democrat house member from Mass. had his young boyfriend running a call service for young boys out of the congressman's basement? Barney Frank was his name....a more despicable man you will never find, the media didn't cover it at all.
In fact, he was re-elected after that. Proof that such behavior is a resume enhancer for a liberal or democrat. We can thank the drive by media for people like Frank.
The media covers for odumbo at every turn. They cover his past, his present and his future. I know the day will come when the truth about odumbo's early life and life style comes to light. The drive by media will cover for him.
Is he so pure and clean that he has no white women in his past? Where are the stories of all of his girlfriends in college? Is he the only famous black dude in this country that doesn't have a white woman in his past? I would hazard a guess and say that if the question were posed with "man" instead of "woman" the answer would be different. The media is covering up for this miscreant as they report of a conservative making a mistake.

Anybody can say they're a Christian, doesn't mean they are.

I have never seen the show, never heard the name duggard before yesterday. So I have no idea on the details or the character of these people.
But if someone is a Christian, it doesn't mean they don't have a bad past.

I don't have any way to verify it, but i read something different. I read that the father was told of several incidents (maybe from the son, can't remember) but he did NOT go to the police. He did tell his church (not sure who exactly) and the kid was sent to counceling. The councelor was actually a family friend who was in construction or something like that. Not saying any of this is true but i did read it somewhere this morning.

Please don't say how honorable he or his family is. His father waited a year and was probably forced since someone found out.

You guys are funny....all he needs to do is be Christian and God will forgive him. He molested 5 known girls and probably continues. Castrate him. Or maybe you think his "clean" living since then makes up for it. What if it was one of your daughters and now you found out?

The laughing face is interesting. Do you have a daughter? What would happen if she came home from school and said some older boy, maybe even a minority, was fondling her, concerned her in a restroom. Would you be laughing about someone touching her titty? Doubt it. You would probably be with me in kicking the kid and his fathers ass... Or am I reading your strong headiness wrong. Do we know anything about the situation other than he wasn't ever convicted of anything? Was it really anything more than a teenage kid being a teenage kid? He felt bad about it and told on himself...he told his wife about it before they were even serious about each other. I don't really watch the show or pay much attention to these people, but from what I've read it kinda sounds like kids being kids. I think if he were fondling toddlers or something, he would have been brought up on charges. I don't know what happened. If you do, I'd like to here so I can form a better opinion.

FTR, I'm not advocating child molestation, so don't take my post that way. I don't know what this kid did, but it seems like he's gone further out of his way than most do to right their wrongs.

Why don't you tell us more about your continued support for grown men who have sex with little boys, dean? Ones that were actually brought up on charges and convicted?

Seems to me that when you touched a titty in high school and your advance was unwanted or unappreciated, you got the living sh*t slapped out of you.

This arrogant moron believes himself to be morally superior because he invades the anus of other men. Those of us who believe in normal procreative sex between man-woman, husband-wife, mother-father are supposedly a lesser to him.

The liberal press is loaded with stories about Josh Duggar, and an action he admits was wrong, was committed 12 years ago when he was 14, and was never convicted of.

This is where it is interesting. Ask the same media what they think of Bill Clinton, and the swath of women behind him that were molested, groped, and assaulted.

The media ignores the actions of unrepentant grown men who have molested women and children, yet they have a disdain for a man who admits wrong doing when he was a child. That my friend is true hypocrisy.
