"There is a law known as the Presidential Records Act which mandates that non-personal communications involving the president are owned by the public, by we, the people, and must be archived and that includes electronic communications such as e-mails and tweets" Trump now appears to be doing the very same thing that he lambasted Hillary Clinton for during the campaign.... Trump has been given a new phone by the Secret Service. He can Tweet from that phone. In contrast, Hillary used her family's private email server for official communications, rather than official State Department email accounts maintained on federal servers. Those official communications included classified documents....which were not for public record/release. Way I see it, as long as DJT doesn't Tweet classified data, he is good to go. |

Once the classified email, and non classified that should have been and she didn't know any better, touched her email account, she decided she would wipe that server before she got caught. Which she tried to have done. Until the Donald deals with classified information as if its just a grocery list or sex chat with his wife instead of actual classified information, he hasn't broken any laws. Whether she's in jail or not, she violated laws governing the classification of information and also proved she cant realize something should've been classified and should've had her security clearance revoked. Nor should she have been allowed to run due to the inability to legally hold a clearance. A marine that exhibited similar poor judgement, but without sharing any information with near the level of secrecy was being prosecuted at the end of last year. His defense? Same as hers. The outcome? Not sure as I don't think the court-martial is complete, but it wasn't looking good for the soldier initially. How is she any different? Because she has the support of blind idiots like you that don't care about right and wrong and the big picture as long as you get things the way you want it. |
