Well I came home from offshore for the night and bought my lil girl a duck call necklace and she is already trying to call ducks in with a fake call. All I can say is I'm blessed with a good lil girl..

Thats a cool wee thing.
My daughter got her hands on one of my old decoys for the bath when she was about that age.

Chaz congrats man, you have a beautiful little girl. My daughter is 4 now and gives my duck calls hell, she can even do a pretty decent single quack. She loves riding in the boat. Me and my wife are talking about having another baby soon but whats crazy is I want it to be another little girl.

Think if you have a boy or girl it is important to show them the outdoors so they have a respect for it and so they don't get hung up inside playing video games an stuff. Most of the little kids that are brought up in the outdoors hunting an fishing are a lot less likely to get into trouble later on in life. Great job all you dads that are showing your kids how it is to be a outdoorsman or woman. I recently got married and i am looking foward to having a lil one running around so i can show them the ropes

I'm lucky to have one of each now , 5 year old daughter and a 5 month old boy.
The wee girl is a tough little chick, shes been duck and deer hunting and caught herself some nice trout, shes got her own air pistol and is a good shot, I just dont think she'll follow me around hunting forever. Could be wrong but I think she'll grow out of it.
Shes a bit of a petrol head too, I'm driving the family the other day and shes "dad are the tyres on the car made of rubber" ,well yes they are sweetheart, "dose that mean they would smoke if we did a skid? " ah yes sweetheart. "Dad could we do a skid?" By this stage my wifes looking at me like your not are you.
What would you do? I wasn't going to disappoint her, next stop I gave the rear tyres a dust u :) p

Thats funny man.. same here ole lady just looks at me for half the things I let the lil do and things I do for her.. my biggest thing is I found a picky about food ole lady, so when im at work they eat picky. But as soon as I get home she eats everything I eat. Picky is cheap on me though.:grin:but the lil one will not be picky as long as she follows me around.

Went bring her out for a boat ride and do some fishing.. turned out to be a run from the rain kind of morning, but she had a good time until she didnt want to let her pole go so I could pick it up to run to the next spot, then when I noticed she was hanging it over the side bye bye went the pole.. she was pissed after that..

I was telling the wife the other day about how fired up i was about the new duck lease me and a few buddies picked up
my lil boy asked if i was going to build a blind for him to come so he can shoot at the duck birds. My wife fell out laughing so hard. Now im really looking forward to bring him the up coming season.
