Post my first hunting/ outdoor box
So I got two extra little plastic ammo boxes and two boys.thinking about putting some things in for them so they can be like daddy.when the come out the few warm days during early season.what should I put in it remember there 4 and 5 I don't think mommy would like 12 inch bowie knives and such lol list some items also good idea for other dads .good x-mas gift

another vote for Snacks, hand warmers, and flash lights. You may want to consider small inexpensive binoculars, field guides for identifying birds (not just waterfowl, its important to teach them an appreciation of everything they see...and sometimes break up the boredom), a game strap (let them carry your birds), safety glasses and earplugs, disposable camera, compass, google map of the area (it is never to early to start teaching them to get their bearings)

Thanks petrel great ideas but items that will just pertain to outdoors period like bird book compass map good ideas I already can keep them occupied in the blind with snacks and warmth they both get out a few times just stuff for theoutdoors they can mess with and learning is a plus anybody else thanks guys
