Went riding in the Basin today to get my lawn mower from Basinfag's camp. Ended up going play around by Duck Lake and ran up on a hard ass flat.

I've already used my winch several times pulling myself out and both times it was rookie operator error (don't let friends drive your rig in technical areas)

It didn't take that long to get us out. My uncle johnny was at his camp less than a mile away. He yanked on it from the main bayou and about 150 foot of rope with his outboard whilel i pushed my ass off by the motor. I was able to walk out to the main bayou and grab the rope from him. That shit was sun baked on the other side.

I wish I had video of my buddy & I winching! He got us stuck same way you were just high centered however behind us was mud to waist deep and in front maybe knee to thigh high... somehow he put the rear of my boat on dry land with no way to gain leverage we tried pushing & pullin... I had him walk my oversize anchor out through the mud to a group of shrubs and in 5 min we were out playing again... Well once we got washed off in the river we were back... Have you ever had anyone look at you... you know that WTF stare as your drive by them covered head to toe in mud

i did one of them power slides and swung out wide and had to get pulled out a cpl months ago.

Long stretches of veggies on top of mud are never a good idea.

ha ha... yeah i know... i got a little too "ballzie".. Can't have fun unless ya try out new shit though. Should make for a good run. Saturday can't come fast enough. Me and Basin will be down at the camp Friday morning getting the last of the prepping done. Might just have to go get stuck one more time before saturday
