The duck was a great looking golden eye drake. It was taken by an army buddy of mine. His first diver too.
It was a good way to close out the season

I busted ice once on Joyce WMA a couple years ago. It was 19 outside, and by the time I got to where I wanted to hunt, I was down to my undershirt and soaked in sweat. I doubt I'll ever be mad enough at a damn duck to do that again.
