Since my prop was shot at Caddo, Dogwalker was kind enough to lend me his Hopkins to try out. Put it on after work today and Thelizard007(Chris) and myself went for a little ride. First off this thing is badazz, got on plane a lot quicker and throws a nice tail. Water was high so we didn't find much mud but the lillies were in full force. My boat never ran threw lillies that good. This thing chops em up and spits em out. It doesn't run as fast as the GT big blade but close enough. My rpms at 31.4 were 3830. With the GT prop im turning 3950 to 4000. I was really pleased with the Hopkins might get one in a couple of weeks. Gotta get mine rebuilt first, gonna go with an 12inch 11 pitch see how that runs. Chris getting a little mud I couldn't snap the picture fast enough but chris was using his instant reverse (paddle) at the launch. |

If I need to I can, just gotta unscrew the steering rod. When i'm running through grass I use it to clean out the prop. |

Scott the place is across the lake. Just look up Hopkins props and it will come up. Think they run about 450. |
