It is a shade slower than a 2 blade cleaver 12x12 (which ran 29mph on my old POS Weldbilt 17x42 with my stock GDSD 27 Kohler) ---- But still turns a respectable 27mph in deep water and has twice the low end power and twice the mud moving torque in the slop.... And at Caddo or the Trinity cut through all the vegitation like a serated knife --- never had a bit of trouble with veggie accumulation on the prop --- pop it up to the surface and sling it off every time it starts to gather.... First run water was at 1.6 or so -- it was 2.5 in the lower marsh around the Bay and about 3.5 upriver in Mac Charlotte and Mud Lakes... It was so high in Mud that we didn't even touch the knees goin in... Wish you woulda been able to go... We went deep all along the levee road and found some shallow stuff too... Fer a guy from San Antonio - Bart sure knows our area pretty well - all those test drives I suppose.... _________________ Eat - Sleep - Hunt ! ! !
