Side note ---- if anyone has the GoDevil Surface Drive with an older 2 blade prop ---- the change to the NEW 3 BLADE is well worth the money and trouble... It is a shade slower than a 2 blade cleaver 12x12 (which ran 29mph on my old POS Weldbilt 17x42 with my stock GDSD 27 Kohler) ---- But still turns a respectable 27mph in deep water and has twice the low end power and twice the mud moving torque in the slop.... And at Caddo or the Trinity cut through all the vegitation like a serated knife --- never had a bit of trouble with veggie accumulation on the prop --- pop it up to the surface and sling it off every time it starts to gather.... Thanks Coco -- love my GoDevils -- both of them the LT and the GDSD ! ! ! |

Also --- thanks "Whackem" --- fer holdin on to the GoDevil 16x44 and sellin it to me this weekend --- the LT is already mounted and a maiden voyage is prolly coming this week.... She is just in a new stall waitin --- if ya wanna take her out again... Whackem - appreciate your patience as we missed getting together a few weeks ago when my brother in law passed away.... Swamplord, Hornets nest --- we put up some "late" woody nesting boxes that day too and I got my butt stung 5 or 6 times by some big ole red wasps doin it... Still pickin at the stingers... |

Sam River is up with rains... First run water was at 1.6 or so -- it was 2.5 in the lower marsh around the Bay and about 3.5 upriver in Mac Charlotte and Mud Lakes... It was so high in Mud that we didn't even touch the knees goin in... Wish you woulda been able to go... We went deep all along the levee road and found some shallow stuff too... Fer a guy from San Antonio - Bart sure knows our area pretty well - all those test drives I suppose.... |

TXSHOCKWAVE, Not any kind of competition --- just kickin up a bit of mud here and there... Just the opposite in fact --- I took my wife --- others took kids --- very low key...
