Thank God that Jacob took that project over. That fusken rake made me loose my religion, and hurt my foot when I liked the sides off via frustration. LMAO |

Its a mod v. The V only comes to the bottom of the rake then it flattens out. Im running big water up here and spray is brutal when its -20 wind chill! Ill keep you guys updated as it progresses. I intend to be in the water weekend after next |

How's it handle the waves? Is there any "sneezing" effect that you get sometimes on flat bottom? You know, going over waves and having water thrust forward & up, wind hits it then it's in your face etc.... |

I have run some pretty bad waves in this thing. The Res up here where I live in KS gets serious nasty on windy days. I got caught in one the other day. You wont get a drop of water on you unless its getting blown in by the wind which if you are going cross wind in a 25 mph wind you get sprayed pretty good. However you would get srayed in anything in that case. It doesnt pop on waves like a straight flat bottom does. If I could do it over Id have the exact same boat, seriously! Ive also seen no down side to the modv bow in mud so far. |
