how do you sink a boat in the veggie by the dock.......unless it filled up with rain water and thats how it was found, or forgot to put in the plug......those boys dont look too happy. |

Motor and gas tank look good. Start her up and drive it out...although you may need some mods to get on plane with that load! Sent from my MB865 using Tapatalk 2 |

Post subject: | Re: Prodrive Submarine Division |
So the story goes as i wasnot there. The wind was out of the south and the lake was low. That night the wind turned from the north and turned up some pretty big waves on the lake. So basically the boat got pushed up against the dock and couldnt swing and we see the result. We got it out by using a chain and leverage beam to lift the ass end of the boat out of the water and a 3in pump within a few minutes she was floating on her own. This is the same boat we grounded in Fausse Poiinte just weeks prior. Needless to say i am DONE with Fausse pointe, I was hunting in Sherburne and had to haul ass to go rescue these old men from this catastrophe! Good times. |

Big waves? I don't buy it. That looks like a back-of-the-bayou camp some where. Especially with all those lillies choking it. If they left the plug out say they left the plug out. ![]() |

I never understood why people who have docks for their mudmotors that are left in the water dont have some kind of roller system to just drive the motor up on when they get home to get the boat completely out of the water. I know I would definitely have that type of a setup. |

Damn, I feel lucky then. We were insulating the attic in our houseboat when it started raining. Not thinking the rain run off the roof (no gutter yet), my shit filled up to within inches of sinking. but its alot deeper than that shit. 35 - 5gal buckets later, I was good. auto bilge is now installed. |

Yup full power reverse is nice but also works good as a boat sinking aid. Only half sunk my boat. Bilge pumps are a great invention Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
