Yes dick they do. I just bought the same tank and it has a "ventless" cap aka piece of shit. Just curious if he had the same problem and changed to ole faithful as in the pic. |

No it didn't. That cap came off an older gas tank. The newer tanks are supposed to be self-venting but the damn thing wouldn't vent. I've since found out that if you have the newer caps, you're supposed to remove or poke a hole in the little plastic ball under the cap. Call me crazy but I'd rather have a cap with a manual vent screw. |

Thats where i was going with this. Mine looks like a 3 day old dead turtle with the POS cap it came with after about 30 minutes. thanks |
