Yes dick they do. I just bought the same tank and it has a "ventless" cap aka piece of shit. Just curious if he had the same problem and changed to ole faithful as in the pic.

No it didn't. That cap came off an older gas tank. The newer tanks are supposed to be self-venting but the damn thing wouldn't vent. I've since found out that if you have the newer caps, you're supposed to remove or poke a hole in the little plastic ball under the cap. Call me crazy but I'd rather have a cap with a manual vent screw.

Thats where i was going with this. Mine looks like a 3 day old dead turtle with the POS cap it came with after about 30 minutes. thanks
