Ok I put a few pictures up yesterday but I found a few more.

This is about an hour and a half from home and a real tourist hub.
Enjoy.

Lake Wakatipu said wok a tip oo. The lake goes down as steep as the mountains and is extremely deep.

This lot is just past Queenstown in the gibson valley.

I didn't get any more photos than that. The area is so big the pictures dont do it justice.

The shed is rammed earth and shist rock and used to be a wool shed built 1800s

Plenty of water for big toys in that. The only river that comes out of this isn't really boat friendly, the outlet is only half or less than the inflow....one of those mysterys

I love it up there but I do like getting home to.

Yes Mickey D.s made it over here.. Its not that blackwater

You'd have a blast. Q town is not cheap, but you are buying a nzd for 78 us cents.
Make sure you let me know, I can tee up a hunt, fish or something the tourists dont see.

I met a lovely couple from missouri at one of the places.
We we're in the car park with a 3 man water balloon sling shot firing stones into the paddock.

What would be the best time of the yr to be over there on a vacation? The flight would cost the most then..

Your winter is our summer peak, but possibly may, its too early for ski season and summer is over, bonus is duck season starts first weekend of may. Its winter ski season now, I'm not sure if it picks up now or not.

How popular is waterfowl hunting down there?
Is it just ducks or do you have geese, brant, or swans too?
Do you have hunting guides that do day hunts or would a guy have to go with the whole outfitter/lodge package?

You gotta have a better reason than just duck hunting to go as far away as NZ because the flight is expensive. I'd pick Argentina over NZ if you want to kill 50 ducks a day. I hear the ducks are like flies and baiting is a well honed skill.

NZ landscape is beautiful and the history is unique. Some day when I retire and my children start paying it forward to me.

Funny, I don't remember asking you what reasons I should have to go to New Zealand or the best place to go duck hunting in the world....... (Or Chaz either if you were referring to him.)

You really can't help but douche up everything on this forum can you?

Ok Chaz, I found our flights for the first week of duck season. $1,846.00, but the catch is we have a layover in San Francisco. We gonna have to watch each other's six while we walk around that place.
