Buddy called from down the river while I was fishing and had spun a prop on his skeeter. I didn't have rope but I had the strap I use over the boat on the trailer... So I went to the rescue.

6-7mi wide open, 6mph, 28-2900RPM... Got us back though.

That boat is friggin heavy that's all I know. We made it back though.

Well my boss did get a little heated when he called me out and I answered the phone and told him, "hang on, I'll call you back after I take the fish off this trotline" :lol:

I had 40lbs worth of tasty Op on one line... I wasn't about to mess around and lose one hahaha.

My version of being on call is "being available" to take a call. I was only 20min from the boat ramp and less than an hour from location. I showed up with the boat behind the service truck and a cooler full of dinner too dammit!!!!
