Last trip of the season.
Last decoy pick up is always bittersweet. Here's a photo I captured of my cousin watching the last sunset of the season.

Re: Last trip of the season.
Its the worst time of the year for me. I get pretty emotional thinking about the wonderful memories hunting with my father (died in 1987), my uncle (died about 3 years ago), my son (age 31), and the many friends with whom I”ve hunted throughout the 66 years of life. I don’t know how much longer I have left on this earth but I’ll be making many more, god willing.

Re: Last trip of the season.
It's emotional for me also. I'm in my 40s and grew up hunting with my dad (now in his 70s). I rarely am able to get him out there past the early season. Just can't do it like he used to. I'm gonna carry on tradition with my cousin as long as I can. His dad (my uncle and dad's bro) isn't getting any younger either. Here's to the off-season and hopefully some good fishing.
