Holy Batman !!!! That is one huge piece of Fur !!! I am intersted in the fuel consumption also. 130miles is a long way!!! Though, 30 mph divided into 130 miles is a little over 4 hours of running. @ approx. 5 gph. I would guess 20-25 gallons round trip?? Uncle J |

Sorry not to get back with you guys sooner but with work and play that is how it is. Anyway, last weekend when we got that big blacky I ran the river and was guessing on river miles, no GPS, and did not keep track of the fuel. Yesterday I went a total of 100 miles, 50 up river and 50 back down river against a hard wind. Burned a total of 12 gal. of fuel in my 35 HP SDGD. That figured to about 1 gal / 8.3 miles. No bears but the weather was great. Duckdon |
