Added some upgrades from last year's version-
Transom flotation pods. (big improvement, floats level)
Stainless tail tube with full length teflon sleeve, hollow chromoly drive shaft with stainless 3/4" threaded stub end for the prop shaft.
High pressure thrust bearing against the engine housing.
Trim/tilt/angle adjustments, easier to drive in rough water, two fingers in smooth water.
Overall the mud motor is probably 40 lbs lighter than before, I can install by myself.
Better throttle assy, added a handle on the side in addition to the removable full width light bar to hang on to.
Have no idea how fast it is, but it absolutely flies with just my daughter and me, with trolling motor and battery and one gas can. It pretty much planes instantly now.
(14x36 120 lbs duck boat, resin coated bottom for slickness, big stainless prop)

Second part of initial test, me hitting a tree... hey, it looked like it would slide UNDER the boat... lesson learned

My boat has been above my head into a tree. Don't ever assume they'll just slide under the boat. They will, just not exactly like you hope. I expected to be stopped dead in my tracks. Instead, I went up into it a ways lol

Glad to see it running well
