I have a 2016 excel 1754 .125 hull with the MB 4400 BD HDR. I'd be very interested in some real data your buddy is getting with his. I was told by the excel rep to expect 31 to 33 with a light load. I've done the 10 hr valve lash check. with me, my 75lbs dog, 5 gallon gas, a trolling motor and 2 batteries, I'm only getting 25gps and 3700 rpm. I'm underwhelmed. Trim up anymore and porpoising goes out of control. I'd like to hear what others with this setup are getting so I know if I've got a problem or if I got overinflated expectations |
