Post Boat light connector Question
i have an 06 chevrolet with the round plug in adapter by the hitch. i put the '4 wire' LED wiring harness on the boat trailer and i bought the hoppy plug in adapter. i have running lights but no brake lights or turn signals.the wires are ran correctly on each side of the trailer. They work on an older toyota. what would be the problem?

Try hooking up another trailer to your chevy. If your chevy doesnt light up the brake, and turn signals on the second trailer, its has to be the wiring on the truck.

I've always considered myself lucky to have any lights at all... much less brakes and blinkers.

check the ground on the trailer you were having problems with cuz if that 'yota is a good bit older I'll put money it does not have fuses fo trailer lights. Them older trucks would burn bulbs if something was loose.

got the same problem....'07 toyta tacoma everything works great on boat trailer and any other trailer I have

Any other truck like my 05 Dodge 3500 nothing works if lights arent turned on, when lights are turned on everything works except the right brake/blinker

or 06 Ford F150 runnin lights will work but nothing else will work

Still blown fuses or something else? Its not just the boat trailer any trailer I have (which are all wired right and grounded)

I was going to suggest checking the bulbs since they have 2 elements, 1 for running lights the other for stop/turn signals.

As far as trailer working on one truck and not another I have no idea. Might try buying a cheap .22 bore brush and cleaning the female connections real good and emery cloth or sandpaper on the male ends
