CONGRATULATIONS MUDBUDDY!!!!!!!!!!
well, it only took a few yrs, but we now have a mb dealership in new iberia, la. i'll say this, they do have the nice-est paint job. the one i looked at was a 35 hyper with serial # 15,###. i thought it was a gatortail till i walked up to it and saw the holes in the brace thingy. got a couple of these setups at the local travis boating center. i stopped by to checkout the hull, i never seen one before. would be interesting wif a 90hp yamaha/jackplate. might be a alternative hull for sum of u guys needing a boat and don't want to go thru the ordeal of having one built. l would lay it out differant, but for a cookie cutter it is a nice boat. it's got the sissy bar for those hard to drive belt-drives already on it, and it's removeable. i would have to set a pd on it to see if the handle wouldn't hit the bench seat. if i had one i would cut out the flotation and 1/2 the bench seat and also cutout the underneath of the front deck[there is a insert] for more storage, but i am a crazy person. http://www.fisherboats.com/boat/gallery.cfm?boat=3187

Re: CONGRATULATIONS MUDBUDDY!!!!!!!!!!
Isn't this the hull that Fisher/Tracker copied from Gatortrax hulls they supposedly purchased to use as a template? I know these rigs are sold through Bass Pro Shop. They aren't a bad looking hull, though I would have to agree with DA on the rear bench having to go. Xerox Combo!! I like that!

Re: CONGRATULATIONS MUDBUDDY!!!!!!!!!!
It was only a matter of time until the cookie-cutter boat companies adopted a design that was derivative of Go Devil, Gatortrax, Prodrive and other mud boats.
Anyone know if they have longitudinal stringers, or are these boats ribbed?
I know a couple of people who run Fisher boats (with outboards) and they are pretty stoutly constructed rigs. And a good value.

Re: CONGRATULATIONS MUDBUDDY!!!!!!!!!!
longitudinaly braced. i saw it on the websight and in person. it's got the halfpipe front end, just not tapered as much as a gatortrax. like idabilly said, it looks like a mixture of boats. the 18x60 i looked at looked like a neat boat. i didn't see the pricetag, but a 1648 with a 23 hyper ws 11,000$ plus tax rigged out. there wasn't a tag on the 18x60 rig with the 35mb. probly add another 2 grand or so. the trailer was galvanized or sumthing like galvanized. looked good.

Re: CONGRATULATIONS MUDBUDDY!!!!!!!!!!
Saw one of dem boats at the bass pro in bossier city, it looks like a cheap copy of my GatorTrax. Welds looks like a retarded kid did them with a wire gun. For what they want for them you can call Kent and have him make you one.

Re: CONGRATULATIONS MUDBUDDY!!!!!!!!!!
Think of the kind of boat / mud motor combo you could get from Gatortrax, Pro Drive, Gator Tail, Phowler, Aucoin, etc., for that kind of money.
Some folks like to go through the process of having a custom boat made, others don't mind grabbing a combo they see sitting on a lot somewhere.
Just like a custom home vs. buying a ready-made one, you can get more for your money if you get involved in the process.

Re: CONGRATULATIONS MUDBUDDY!!!!!!!!!!
takes a while to get educated on these things... that's why Mudbuddy sells so many motors.

Re: CONGRATULATIONS MUDBUDDY!!!!!!!!!!
Looked these up at Tracker and Fisher, not that great a package price IMHO. You can get an 1860 Phowler Package, 36 PD with Power Trim and Galv Trailer with the exact same options with all shipping/rigging to our area for around $1100 less compared to their package with 35 MB.

Re: CONGRATULATIONS MUDBUDDY!!!!!!!!!!
Just like anything else, I'd bet most folks don't have a clue as to what options they have in the MM world. I saw that same package for sale at the local Travis Boating ctr here now.
