ran my 36 PD last weekend through some 1 to 2 inch ice for about a mile round trip. started hearing metal to metal noise coming come clutch area. Undid skirt and what appears to be alluminuim or steel shavings that look like shavings of metal when you drill a hole in bar stock that come off the drill bit, falling on the plate under the clutch. When I engage in gear it would not go finally? Had to use the Bump gear button to get back to landing.? clutch going out? Anybody in North Miss that does work on PD? Thanks for any help or suggestions

My "clutches" have always made that dragging sound when I turn the prop by hand. I dont hear it when the motor is running though. When mine went out I I finally got it to catch during idle but it would slip if I tried to give it gas. Got me home but it had 4 broken bands and had to be replaced.
