Question about duals on a 1854
Will it work? I have a 2010 18' x 54" extreme and would like to go with dual 35's if the boat will hold them. Anybody have one or have an opinion.
Couldnt register on gt forum and my computer wouldnt send an email to kyle or hoyt so here i am.

Yes it will work and it will be badass like dat if you do. I do hope you have a hunt deck on it cause dat is a good bit weight hangin on da back.

No huntdeck. But I'm not concerned about backwash in reverse, just don't want it to when shutting down in forward. Anybody got this setup?

Re: Question about duals on a 1854
There have been a couple guys run duals with no hunt deck. Damon Silva used to have dual PD's on a 1852 Phowler and it did great. Brinkleydog on here is running dual PD's on a 2054 Aucoin with no hunt deck. Like JC said, a hunt deck would be great, but prolly not necessary.

Re: Question about duals on a 1854
I could be totally wrong here but I thought GTR's required a 60" wide tramsom for duals and only pd's would work on a 54". Anyone have a pic of dual gtr's on a tiller setup? Don't think Ive ever seen one before w/o a console.
