Hey guys, I'm new to this forum and mud motors in general. I've had a bit of experience with outboards and duck boats, but I've got the itch for a mud motor. The delima I'm having is that I want a 35hp modded to the hilt but in Arkansas most WMAs have a 25hp restriction. With that in mind what recommendations do yall have for a 25hp surface drive.

What kind of performace are yall getting from the 25 or 23hp surface drives/boat size?
I'm assuming I'll have to mod one to get any kind of speed compared to a 25 outboard. Usually haul no more than 3 hunters and gear. Thanks.

From what I've read on here WMA also has prop restrictions so make sure u find out everything before u buy
