 Merc Trouble

Post Merc Trouble
My buddy has a 90 model 20hp Merc. It will run fine without the gas hose hooked up. If you hook the hose up gas will start to come out the top of the carb and it will flood out and die. Any ideas?

float stuck,tap on the bowl see if it stops. try some seafoam in the gas if you dont wanna take it apart.
