Here is my old boat after hitting a log one day. I was running about 25 mph when I hit it.

Re: crash or sunken boat pics
Tongthrower's PD. River was kickin. Ended up using his winch and his truck to pull it up on land. 30 more seconds and the boat would have gone down. Don't feel bad for him though. Put that sucka on a tagged Redfish.

Re: crash or sunken boat pics
I sunk my boat once.... we managed to get it pulled back out which I never thought we would get it done... but that is what brothers and friends are for... took 4 come-a-longs and some cables and a chainsaw... pulled it up and left it hanging up in the trees over night... changed the oil and plugs... new air filter and some fogging oil down the carb and jugs... and drove the boat home like a stole it 13 miles back down river to the ramp... I never should have been in a river this small when it was flooding...

Re: crash or sunken boat pics
It ain't a wreck but it still sucked. They dropped the water so fast we never even had time to react. 1848 SDB 36 PD finally dug it out with a sculling paddle after about 6 hours.

Is there flotation in the sides of that boat, or just the floor?

Gotcha, lucky then.
So end result is some bailing and soggy boots until you had free board then?

Re: crash or sunken boat pics
Boat slid in a curve and never bit. The front end slid up on a stump out of the water and the back filled up with water. It took a couple come alongs to get it out and hanging from trees to get it out. Drained the motor a couple times and its runnin like a top again.
