 Trolling motor mount on a older GD boat.

Post Trolling motor mount on a older GD boat.
Guys
I have a older 18X44 GD boat. Looking for the best way to mount a bow mount trolling motor.
I cannot get the nice quick mount plate for motor. It just has holes in the mount to screw/bolt it down.
I would think just screwing it down on the deck would work it way out/tearup screw holes.
Any ideas on the best way to go about this?

Post Trolling motor mount on a older GD boat.
If you know how to weld or know someone who knows how to weld, make a new rolling motor bracket that can accommodate the quick release mount.
