 HELP!!!
I dont want a motor for the need of being able to run in mud. I need it for being able to run through grass. With this being said, the waters I run on will have a clay/sand bottom. If I were to run into a sand bar or just shallow water would this kind of bottom just destroy a prop and the purpose of even getting a mud motor? im looking at the dixie 23hp. I have an outboard for open water hunts I just need something to get up creeks in and over thick grass mat. Would that motor push 4 guys and gear ? 1448. appreciate it guys. need suggestions.

 Re: HELP!!!
27 is a lot of weight on the back of a 14 foot boat. You should really look into a longer hull.
